Easter 2025 - Flotilla cruise in the Seychelles for families
From 18 to 26 April 2025 - 9 days/8 nights
Flottilla cruise on a catamaran in the Seychelles
Managing to organize a vacation based on the needs of the whole family can be complicated. Mondovela offers a new formula to bring together and get to know similar family groups.
This flotilla cruise is designed to make both adults and children feel good, combining the pleasure of sailing with that of sharing exciting moments. Together we will sail among the islands of the Seychelles, for a peaceful and fun catamaran trip.
Our itinerary is designed to guarantee maximum safety during navigation and on-board stays. The program includes slow rhythms, games for the little ones, aperitifs and chats for the adults and a good alternation between nights in port and at anchor.
We will explore the archipelago with routes selected specifically to entertain children and teenagers, but also to relax adults.
The Seychelles
The Seychelles archipelago is made up of 115 islands: a wonderful natural park located just below the equator. From April 18 to 26, Mondovela invites you to explore it on a cruise, aboard splendid catamarans.
The chosen itinerary touches the most spectacular corners of this paradise, to discover giant turtles, breathtaking seabeds, endless white beaches and pink rocks famous throughout the world.
Visiting the Seychelles by catamaran is a unique experience: the typical fauna and flora of the Indian Ocean frame the friendliness and kindness of the local population, the crystalline sea during the day lights up at night under the starry sky.
This spring let yourself be amazed by colorful corals and fish. The show, which can be seen from the bow net of the catamaran, will leave you breathless.
Basic program
The Seychelles is a very compact archipelago and the islands are just a few miles apart, which allows you to easily change the stops included in the following basic itinerary, taking into account any logistical and/or meteorological reasons.
Friday, April 18
Meet at Malpensa check-in. We leave with an Emirates flight to Mahé, the capital of the Seychelles, with a stopover in Dubai.
April 19
Arrival in Mahé and transfer to the marina. Check-in, boarding and taking over your cabin. After stocking up on supplies and, weather permitting, you can set sail for Ile au Cerf, for a first dip in the transparent waters of the Seychelles. Return to Mahé, for dinner on board or in town.
April 20
We raise anchor early in the morning and, with a nice sail towards the islands northeast of Mahé, we reach the Cousin Islands, for a dip in the crystal clear sea. Depending on the weather, we will spend the night in Ansé Lazio or Curieuse Bay.
April 21
After breakfast and a refreshing dip, we move towards Aride Island. Immediately after lunch, a possible excursion to the Valle de Mei or a relaxing sunbath on board, in preparation for the evening on land in a typical Creole restaurant. Night at anchor or in the marina in Praslin, depending on the weather.
April 22
A few miles and we reach Curieuse Bay, where a trip awaits us among the typical vegetation of the island of the Marine Park, practically uninhabited and populated by giant tortoises, while the skippers wait with the boat at the exit of the park. Depending on the day, the locals organize barbecues on the beach under the palm trees and, with a bit of luck, we will take advantage of it. Night under the stars at anchor.
April 23
The day is full of events. La Digue is one of the most famous islands and you can get around it by bike. After renting enough, we will visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago. Lunch and dinner are free, but an aperitif at sunset on the beach on the west side of the island is a must.
April 24
We cast off the moorings and point the bows of our catamarans in the direction of Les Soeurs, Coco Isle, Felicité. Then we return to Anse Lazio, for an afternoon of diving and relaxing in the sun (without forgetting the sunscreen!). Night at anchor.
April 25
What's better than waking up with a dip in the clear waters of the famous Anse Lazio? The last one, because then we set sail towards Mahè, where after disembarking at 12, the transfer to the airport awaits us
Saturday 26
Arrival at 9:45 in Milan Malpensa and... return to reality ☹
