There are places in the Mediterranean where the sea seems to display endless shades of blue, where wind-shaped granite rocks plunge into crystal-clear waters and every anchorage feels like a different island. Between northern Sardinia and southern Corsica lies one of these truly special corners of the Mediterranean.
From Cannigione, in the heart of Gallura, we will set sail for a week-long catamaran cruise exploring the Costa Smeralda, the La Maddalena Archipelago and the Strait of Bonifacio, sailing between Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria, Cavallo, Lavezzi and the most spectacular bays of southern Corsica.
Days begin with breakfast overlooking the sea and the slow rhythm of sailing from one island to another. We stop in the most beautiful anchorages to swim, snorkel or simply relax under the sun, while the wind carries us through white granite landscapes, turquoise seabeds and beaches that look almost Caribbean.
We will sail through the transparent waters of Cala Corsara in Spargi, the natural pools of Budelli and the protected bays of La Maddalena before crossing the Strait of Bonifacio towards southern Corsica. Here, iconic destinations such as Santa Manza, Rondinara, Palombaggia and Bonifacio await us — one of the most spectacular harbors in the Mediterranean, dramatically perched atop Corsica’s white limestone cliffs.
At sunset, aperitifs are shared at anchor or ashore in charming seaside villages, among waterfront restaurants, music and summer evenings under the stars. From peaceful nights in remote bays to the lively atmosphere of Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, each day brings a different and unforgettable experience.
The cruise takes place in true Mondovela flotilla style, a formula that combines freedom and conviviality: every boat keeps its own spaces and rhythm while sharing routes, anchorages and special moments with the rest of the flotilla, creating that unique atmosphere made of sea, smiles and new friendships.
