Sailing Fast & Fun - First 53 | Luxury sailing yacht | School cruise | Sardinia

“Sailing Fast & Fun” school cruise, powered by Ryanda: in July test and improve your sailing performance.

A week along the Sardinian coast, before the August crowds arrive, is ideal for those who love adrenaline-filled and sporty sailing and want to improve their sailing skills without giving up fun and relaxation.

The course takes place on a super performing First 53, with North Sails 3Di carbon fiber sails. A very fast boat thanks to the sail plan designed to make the most of the wind and the sporty and clean lines of the hull and deck, with equipment reduced to a minimum to allow easier movement during navigation.

At the same time, this thoroughbred is elegant, welcoming and comfortable like the best cruising boats. The interiors with a minimalist design are equipped with every comfort to make life on board perfect. The teak deck offers moments of pure relaxation in the sun or under the stars and the large cockpit is ideal for lunches, aperitifs, dinners, chats and laughter during stops at anchor.

The instructor, a commander with long experience in offshore, oceanic and solo navigation, is an expert trainer capable of transmitting knowledge in an effective and engaging way. Being part of his crew means immediately teaming up and discovering all the secrets and anecdotes of a true sea dog!

Get on board, improve your sailing skills, have fun and enjoy the Sardinian sea and the company of those who have the same passion as you.

To participate it is necessary to provide a non-competitive medical certificate.

THE BOAT

THE BOAT

Designed by Biscontini Yacht design, First 53 represents a new point of reference as a fast and luxury cruising sailboat and responds to the requests of the most demanding owners by offering emotions at the helm, speed and a comfortable life on board at mooring.

A happy combination of classic and modern lines, with a straight and thin bow that offers ample space and a beam of 5 meters that enlarges the stern area, this vessel guarantees excellent marine behavior. The cockpit has been carefully designed so that nothing hinders the passage towards the bow, with maneuvers near the double wheelhouse and convenient access to the gangways, while near the companionway the space is entirely dedicated to relaxation. The slender deckhouse and flush deck give the vessel a refined and modern style at the same time. Thanks to the powerful, perfectly maneuverable sail plan with small crew, a high-end mast and equipment, the boat fully represents the new era of the First range.

INTERNAL DESIGN

Designer Lorenzo Argento aimed for classic style interiors, with a great return to laminated wood, noble materials and fine finishes, on a background of lacquered bulkheads and teak floors. Anti-roll and handrails as well as various well-thought-out stowage areas complete the set-up which has three double cabins and two bathrooms, as well as a separate cabin for the crew. The separation between the lounge/relaxation corner furnished with a large sofa and a coffee table and the kitchen equipped with a table for eating represents one of the main innovations and the whole is bright, ventilated and communicates easily with the outside.

COCKPIT

Fluidity of movement is guaranteed both between the wheelhouses and in the arrangement of the maneuvering winches, and for access to the deck. The opening transom transforms into a bathing platform, revealing a garage that can easily accommodate a 2.40 m tender.

THRILLING EMOTIONS

To offer the maximum in terms of emotions at the helm, balance under sail and weight balance were carefully studied during the conception of the boat. The center of buoyancy, for example, is aligned with the center of the sail. Straight and wide bow, stern beam, draft of 2.50 m or 3 m (with lead bulb), double rudder blades allow you to perfectly control this lively hull: the First 53 has all the credentials for a hull that sails miles at full speed.

BOAT ALWAYS CONNECTED

The Seanapps mobile application and its on-board unit allow you to monitor the status of the various boat systems (battery, fuel and water tank levels, planning of maintenance operations) from your smartphone, as well as plan the own itineraries or take stock of navigation.
