Dufour 460 Grand Large: unique design for unique people

The Dufour 460 Grand Large is a unique model, the result of the extensive design experience developed by the yard on its range of 45 and 46 footers.

Everything on this boat has been carefully studied to satisfy both aesthetics and functionality. The exterior spaces are designed to guarantee maximum liveability: starting from the helm station, where the fantastic helm with its reliable and comfortable grip faces the control area with all the controls that are easy to reach and manage.
Another unique design feature is the external galley, fully equipped and integrated with a gas grill, hidden under a seat in the large cockpit, where - around the cockpit table equipped with a central lamp to illuminate the evenings at anchor - 8 people can comfortably sit.

The interiors are extremely spacious and meticulously designed, with the super-equipped galley and cosy dinette optimised for easy storage of galley, crockery, objects and bottles. The 4 elegant cabins, with their warm, rational furnishings, have private bathrooms with electric WCs and, next to the door of the forward ones, there is a coffee machine that makes life on board even more comfortable. The Dufour 460, with its functional design, is like a real houseboat where you and your guests can enjoy holidays of total relaxation.

Mayflower is a beautiful Dufour 460 Grand Large, a model born from the collaboration between designer Umberto Felci and the Dufour designers and which has become a reference point for boats in this segment due to its innovative features. Mayflower combines high performance with absolute comfort: the hull, the deckhouse, the interiors, the 4 comfortable double cabins with private bathrooms... everything on board has been designed to optimise space and make this boat perfect for those who love sailing. The stern platform, the large deck that offers space to relax and the barbecue add comfort and conviviality to the cruise. This summer Mayflowers will set sail from its base in the Gulf of La Spezia for cruises to the Cinque Terre, or to the Tuscan archipelago of the islands of Capraia, Elba and Giglio, or even to Corsica and the Maddalena archipelago in northern Sardinia.

Our Porto Lotti base

The Gulf of Poets, a name that recalls how much this land was loved by great poets and writers, is the stretch of sea that stretches from Lerici to Portovenere, embracing between two promontories beaches, jagged coastlines and the pearls of Tellaro, San Terenzo, Fezzano, Le Grazie, Palmaria Island with Tino and Tinetto.

A few miles from the Cinque Terre (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), it is an ideal starting point for cruises to the Tuscan coast, Corsica and Sardinia.

Our sailboats are based at the best Yacht Club in the Gulf, the Marina di Porto Lotti, which offers functional and fully equipped moorings, illuminated docks, fire-fighting and life-saving equipment in accordance with current regulations, a professional mooring service and a reserved car park.

The spacious premises that accommodate the Yacht Clubs are in refined nautical style and house, in addition to a bar, gym, spa and a beautiful swimming pool to recharge your batteries after sailing.

RATES AND TERMS

Embarkation: Saturday 17:00 - Disembarkation: Saturday 09:00

Embarking and disembarking: La Spezia (Porto Lotti)

The price includes:

  • Insured boat - on-board equipment
  • VAT
  • Mooring at the marina of embarkation


The price does not include:

  • Compulsory Charter Pack to be paid at the embarkation (including bed linen and bath towels, final cleaning, tender and outboard motor) €. 200,00 per week
  • Galley
  • Fuel consumption, eventual port costs
  • Anything not mentioned under: the price includes


Optional extras

  • skipper fee € 150,00 per day + food
  • Hostess € 130,00 per day + food
  • Transfer from/to boarding base


Optional extras:

  • Refundable deposit € 3.000,00/4.000,00 to be paid at embarkation by cheque or credit card

Compulsory management fee: €. 20,00 per person

The practice management fee includes the "Navale Sos" health and baggage loss policy. A UnipolSail Assicurazioni S.p.A. formula which, using the "Pronto Assistance Servizi S.c.r.l." circuit, offers medical and legal assistance, interpreter, return of the traveller and family members, coverage of medical expenses, etc..

It also guarantees luggage theft/fire cover up to 750.00 euros.


Travel cancellation/interruption insurance policy and additional guarantees:

  • The cancellation/interruption of trip and additional guarantees policy ("SKIPPER & CHARTER") costs 2.6% of the amount of the trip and must be taken out within 7 days of the confirmation date.

This cover, specially designed for boating holidays, provides the following guarantees:

  • individual cancellation in extended form
  • compensation for any delay in delivery of the boat as a result of breakdown or bad weather
  • passenger liability
  • Reimbursement of the unused portion of the trip in the event of interruption of the trip.
