Our charter boats

In the south-west of India, in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the Maldives are a small fragment of paradise fallen to earth. In reality, considering the number and dispersion of the 26 ring atolls formed by more than 1000 coral islands, the marine surface occupied by the archipelago is quite large and there are many alternatives for a cruise to discover this wonder. The charter with or without crew of the entire boat or a la cabine with Mondovela's organization, allows you to travel aboard beautiful boats and comfortable and spacious catamarans, particularly suitable for the seabed of coral lagoons. Among the many possible itineraries, the following is an example that allows you to touch uncontaminated corners, completely or almost uninhabited islands adorned with palm groves, golden beaches with impalpable sands, and surrounded by a sea of rare transparency. The Maldives are a natural destination for lovers of timeless and fascinating exoticism, despite their fame and tourism.

Hulhumale, just off the island capital Malé, is the island from which most cruises depart. You sail northwards to reach Kuda Wataru and stop in the magnificent lagoon, starting to accustom your eyes to visions that will seem more and more unreal. Stop at Ziyaaraiy Fushi waiting for the beautiful crossing to Goidhoo. Disseminated by wrecks, it will be impossible not to wear a fin and mask for a dive in the marine areas for snorkelling and diving at Shark Point, the Blue Canyon, with extraordinary blue corals, Manta Point, swimming in the company of sinuous manta rays, or Banana Reef, where underwater life is a palette of many shades.

The ideal anchorage is then Innafushi, a deserted island where it will be nice to proclaim yourself king, at least for one night, and toast your own kingdom under the stars of the tropics. The bow turns to one of the most evocative atolls from the naturalistic point of view, that of Baa, declared World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Here you will be spoilt for choice, but Muthaafushi is another strip of desert Eden with fine white sand. A gallery of beauties that proceeds with Maarikilu, from the spectacular lagoon and then Meedhoo, in the atoll of Raa, for a few bursts of life between bars and clubs. The Maldivian islands are a continuous discovery, continuing on you can dock at Vandhoo, where it is normal to see the phenomenon of bioluminescence in the sea and continue to Rasmaadhoo Island, a real natural aquarium, and again the desert Dhoragail, and Fenfushi, another spot with amazing depths, with hundreds of multicoloured species. Dream baths in the Funadhoo lagoon and the nearby island of Unodhoo. On the way back, always in the atoll of Raa, here is the pretty little Hulhudhoo, with its magnificent lagoon and beaches, and with Eydhafushi sails unfurled, to gradually return to reality, with a few pieces of local handicrafts to take with you, in case, unlikely, the memory is not enough.
