DODECANESE - Greece

Kos
Kos is the second nautical base in the Dodecanese and one of the most popular destinations of Northern Europe tourism. The island of Hippocrates represents the launch pad towards the northern archipelago to the splendid islands we will touch along our cruise. All you have to do is lift the moorings and sail!

Pserimos
In addition to the marina on the western side, the island offers moorings depending on the wind: the deserted bay of Vassilikia on the eastern slope, a beautiful natural pool. Or the coves north of the island of Teseremi, or the idyllic berth on the east side of the island of Nikro, near the turquoise dome chapel.

Kalimnos
Kalymnos is one of the few Greek islands where a true tradition of sailors and fishing survives: still today its gulets can be found in Sicily, in the Gulf of Sirte, on Algerian coral reef or on other Greek islands. The town of Kalymnos harbor, looks like a small Marseilles for the colors and animation of the lanes, a tangle of ancient and new houses clinging to the arid mountain that characterizes the island. Despite the growing tourist inflow, Kalymnos remains linked to its tradition of seafaring, with women waiting for husbands and children sailing or hunting sponges and groupers, and ancient rituals such as the blessing of gulets and crews just after Easter. The coast, rich in coves, fjords and islets, offers quiet and safe shelters. The day is organized.

Leros
From 1930 to 1940, Leros played a decisive role in the Aegean, reaching more than 30,000 inhabitants among militaries, Italian civilians and local population. Even from Rhodes and the other islands people came to Leros to find work, attend theater, cinema and society life. The urban center was rebuilt in the 1930s according to the architectural tendencies of Italian Rationalism, of which it should have been a trial, and is still a target of study for many European architects.

Lipsi
A single village, formerly of fishermen, four miles of coves lurking by the Meltemi, a corollary of shoals and islets, natural pools between rock amphitheatres, where crystalline water invites you to dive. This is Lipsi. But the real gem of the island are the shoals of the small archipelago of Aspra Nissi, which offer a spectacular berth on the turquoise sea so transparent that three ship wrecks on the seabed are visible.

Arki
The tiny Arki, is the perfect place to finally forget about stress. Here the only perceptible noise is that of waves and wind. Nearly uninhabited, the island is bare and covered by Mediterranean scrub, but the jagged coastline from small creeks and tiny isolated beaches offers unforgettable shows such as the Tiganakia Arki Bay, it is completely pedestrian and can only be explored by following the infinite maze of paths that cross it, one of which leads to Panaghia, the most beautiful, white and blue church on top of the hill. The life of its few inhabitants takes place around the marina, the only true center of the island.

Patmos
Architectural and world-renowned international appeal, Patmos must be discovered from within. Starting from the ascent to the ancient Chora, dominated by the monastery of St. John with its fortified walls, offering views of the medieval village, the small square of Aghias Levias and the labyrinth of white houses and "arkontiko", the ancient and rich palaces of the shipowners and island notables. Restaurants, cafes, and antique shops make a delicacy and a tourist attraction in this lively and mundane island. In the bays, taverns that offer grilled fish, and the small secured coves give those who come from the sea quiet stops in uncontaminated corners.

Nysiros
Nisyros leaves everyone breathless for its wild beauty. In contrast to black rocks and white houses with doors and windows painted in vivid colors is the green of the olive trees surrounding the road leading to the volcano up to the main crater where the landscape becomes lunar. Mandraki, the island's capital, rises under the imposing rocky mass of the Panaghia Spilianì Monastery and behind the black pinnacles scattered across the sea. In the alleys and squares, shaded by citrus trees, you can feel the tradition that is still preserved with respect. The monastery and medieval castle, the Acropolis with the walls of the IV century B.C. and the ancient cemetery, near the church of Agios Ioannis are worth a visit.

Tilos
Tilos is a rocky island, with the exception of the small and fertile inner valley, and is the most secluded after Kastellorizo. It is this loneliness to give her a particular charm. Livadia, its small port opens into a pebble bay and crystal clear waters, while Megalo Chorio, the capital, lies at the foot of a rocky hill overlooked by the medieval castle. In Tilos you can visit an early Christian basilica and the small church of Agios Nikolaos.

Simy
A few steps from the Turkish coast a scenery of rare beauty opens up: like a neoclassical crib with ocher and pastel colors here is the little Simy, the Portofino of the Dodecanese. The proximity to Licia influenced its architecture, inspired by the purity of Doric lines: buildings rich in columns and balconies, sometimes colored, distinguish it from Cycladic simplicity. The stately homes of the shipowners and captains of the past are still today in the upper part of Simi, around the ruins of the old crusader castle. From the port of Ehialo, full of taverns and restaurants, you can arrive to the capital to admire the Byzantine fortress and the wall paintings of Panaghia church.

- Greece - A catamaran for eight guests ideal for cruises and crossings. Comfortable and fast, combining speed and cruise functionality. In short, a boat that does not betray the first impression.
