Salerno - Amalfi Coast and Gulf of Naples | Catamaran Cruise | 7 days

Amalfi Coast and Gulf of Naples

From June board our new Summertime catamaran departing from Salerno for a magical cruise between the Amalfi Coast and the islands of the Gulf of Naples. The long days at the end of June, the pleasant temperatures, the places still not clogged by tourists, the breezes that give relaxing sailing, the excellent food and wine will make this week a daydream.

Sail with us along the Coast to discover every corner of this landscape of incomparable beauty, characterized by mighty cliffs that sink into the sea, full of bays and coves enchanted. The intoxicating scent of orange blossom, the bright colours of citrus fruits and the iridescent green of olive trees and vines are everywhere. The heritage of art and characteristic architecture, churches with majolica domes and small houses clinging to the rock, amazing views and lively social life make it one of the most famous and loved destinations in the world.

Amalfi, UNESCO heritage and ancient maritime republic, shows off through the beauty of the Cathedral, with the cloister of Paradise and the Basilica of the Crucifix, the medieval layout of alleys in the old town, the majestic arsenals and the valley of the Mills. Positano, with its narrow streets, clothing shops and blue flag beaches, seen from the sea looks like a crib, set as it is in the mountains and with the cascade of multicolored houses sloping down the slope. Furore is the town of the Murales, with the fjord that descends almost sheer from the edge of the Agerola plateau. Ravello at an altitude of 350 metres, where light effects and magical architecture create a vision of rare intensity. The viewpoint of Villa Rufolo is a terrace on infinity unparalleled in the world.

At the far end of the peninsula, Capri peeps out with its Faraglioni - a dip in its crystal clear waters and a tour of the Piazzetta are a must!

On the north-west side of the Gulf of Naples are Ischia and Procida, volcanic islands, sisters, yet so different. Procida is authentic, discreet with the charming village of Corricella with its colourful houses, the austere charm of Terra Murata, the nature of Vivara. Ischia, the green island, with its Aragonese Castle, its thermal waters and fumaroles, its luxuriant gardens.

And then the coast of Posillipo, the skyline of Naples, Vesuvius and Sorrento, tourist destination par excellence since the time of the Grand Tour, with its cliff overlooking the sea and its excellent restaurants.

The richness of these places offers interests for all tastes and the concentration of attractions does not require long journeys. In addition to the renowned destinations, a multitude of hidden corners and bays are just waiting to be discovered.
